Lesson 1:
I listened to an audiobook summary of The Psychology of Salesmanship. The book explains how sales isn’t just about presenting a product—it’s about understanding human psychology. A great salesperson develops qualities that connect with customers on a psychological level, leading to effective sales.
Takeaway: For me, the key lesson was clear: to market products effectively and reach a wider audience, I must first understand my customer’s psychology. Marketing becomes far more impactful when it’s rooted in how people think, feel, and decide.
Lesson 2:
I watched a video on YouTube about performers in villages who imitate famous actors like Rajinikanth. In the past, these artists relied on local programs and often lost much of their earnings to middlemen. But with the rise of social media, they can now showcase their talents directly to audiences, bypass intermediaries, and earn better recognition and income.
Takeaway: Social media has become a powerful equalizer, transforming lives by giving visibility, opportunities, and recognition to individuals who were once overlooked.
Both lessons highlight one truth: whether in sales or content, understanding people and leveraging platforms effectively is the key to success.
